Ecoship travels to Singapore for the Maritime Week
From April 24-28, the Ecoship team will be in Singapore to take part in the 12th edition of the Singapore Maritime Week (SMW), the leading maritime event in the country. This event will bring more than 20,000 industry professionals together over 34 events this year. Driven by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), SMW gathers the international maritime community for a week of conferences, dialogues, exhibitions and social events in celebration of all things maritime.
During the SMW, Sea Asia will return at Marina Bay Sands from 25 – 27 April. This is the premier maritime and offshore conference and exhibition in Asia. Co-organised by Seatrade and the Singapore Maritime Foundation, the high-level conference features international thought-leaders who will address the latest topics, debate on key trends, and discuss opportunities and challenges facing the maritime and offshore businesses. Peace Boat will present the Ecoship in the booth B2-M27, every day of the show from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
The Maritime Week will kick off with the Norway- Singapore LNG Bunkering Forum at the Tanglin Club on April 24th. This event is part of an ongoing collaboration between Norwegian and Singaporean companies, government agencies and research institutions to jointly promote LNG as a cleaner maritime fuel and energy generation option in Singapore, Southeast Asia and beyond. The forum covers topics ranging from maritime LNG, bunkering technologies and experience to small-scale LNG distribution and utilisation as well as the environmental aspects of LNG. During the event, Project Coordinator Remy Millot will share new details of Ecoship’s LNG bunkering plans
