Ecoship travels to London for the Impact Investing World Forum

The London forum brings together world leading banks, hedge funds, charitable foundations, and trusts.

On March 23-24, Peace Boat and the Ecoship Project will participate in the Impact Investing World Forum. The two-days event will take place at the Kensington Conference and Events Centre, in London. Peace Boat director and founder, Yoshioka Tatsuya, will be featured in one of the keynote presentations.

The Impact Investing World Forum aims to foster debate on the social impact of all types of investments including social impact bonds, stocks, private equity, investment banking, venture capital, wealth management and family office. The forum brings together world leading banks, hedge funds, charitable foundations, and trusts.

Yoshioka Tatsuya will be delivering a 20-minute keynote session titled ‘Investing in the world’s most environmentally sustainable cruise Ship’. The session will take place on March 24th, 12.10 pm (GMT). “We must build partnerships between the public and private sector to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Impact investing is one of the important tools we should leverage to create the sustainable future we envision”, Yoshioka said.

During the conference, 25 speakers will take the stage to discuss topics such as “UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Impact Investing”, “Investing in technology that is changing the world” and “Impact Investing in the renewable energy market”.
